What H272 means

Oxidizing liquids and solids are substances that may, generally by yielding oxygen, cause or contribute to the combustion of other material, though they are not necessarily combustible themselves.

The material can start or intensify a fire when it meets combustible materials such as wood, paper, oil or clothing, and in some cases can cause an explosion when mixed with them.

What to do

Keep away from heat and from clothing and other combustible materials, never mix or store with fuels or reducing agents, avoid contamination, and keep containers closed in a cool place.

This is general guidance for the hazard class. The safety data sheet for your product always takes precedence.
